Mr. David M. Schroeder's Obituary
David M. Schroeder, age 53, of Clay Twp., went home to be with his Lord on February 14, 2015, following a courageous 4 years battle with cancer. He was born September 13, 1961 in East China Twp. On February 12, 2002 David married Ann Sherbinow.
David worked in the painting industry for 35 years. He was a foreman for 15 years with Dependable Painting at the Belle River Power Plant and his last 20 years at Atsalis Brothers Painting as a superintendent, specializing in painting bridges and super structures. David was an avid hunter. He also loved classic cars, which was only surpassed by his love for his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Schroeder, daughters; Andrea (James) Burleson and Ashley (Joseph) Blash, grandchildren; Jake, Alaina and Jackson, parents; Ronald (Beverly) Schroeder and Kathleen Lyon, siblings; Ronald (Pat) Schroeder, Cynthia Schroeder, Penny Schroeder, Barbara Basney and Cheryl Montry, and mother in law, Lois Sherbinow. He was predeceased by a sister, Jean Schroeder.
Funeral services will be Saturday February 21st at 12:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visitation will be Friday 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to service.
