David M. Jozefiak's Obituary
David M. Jozefiak, age 68, of China Twp., passed away July 1, 2016 unexpectedly surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 28, 1948 in Detroit to Michael and Beatrice Jozefiak. He faithfully served his country with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He married Fraulein Gibson on June 13, 1970 in Detroit. He worked at Emhart-Black & Decker for many years as a tool and die maker retiring in 2012.
He helped his sons establish D&M Lawn, Landscape, & Tree Service, LLC.
He would try anything once, but really enjoyed eating potato chips and drinking Coke. He also enjoyed camping and traveling and most of all spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a long time member of New Hope Full Gospel Church serving as head usher.
He is survived by his loving wife; Fraulein Jozefiak, father; Michael Jozefiak, children; Dawn Jozefiak- Elwartoski, Wendy (Paul) Heid, David S. Jozefiak, Joshua (Amie) Jozefiak. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Kaitlynn, Vanessa, Isaac, Amariah, Hannah, Luke, Kalvin, Madison, and Jynelle, sister; Susan Daniels, brothers; Michael (Christine) Jozefiak, Dennis ( Deniece) Jozefiak, Robert Jozefiak, John ( Paula) Jozefiak and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 6 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery, East China Twp. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Cleveland Clinic Philanthropy Institute- Desk DV 9500 Euclid Ave. Cleveland, OH 44195.
