David Allen Dibley's Obituary
David Allen Dibley, age 55, of Marine City, passed away April 2, 2025. David was born January 4, 1970 in Mt. Clemens and graduated from Richmond High School in 1989. He married Lisa Hoekveld on June 28, 1991 and they enjoyed over 33 years together.
David opened Dibley AFC Home in Algonac in 1989. He was a longtime active member of the Algonac Lions Club. David loved being outdoors. He enjoyed spending time on the water boating, fishing, and duck hunting. He also looked forward to pheasant hunting, horseback riding and camping trips with his family.
David is survived by his wife, Lisa Dibley; son, Joe Dibley; father, Joe Dibley; sister, Lori (Reg) Smith; niece, Jessica Smith; nephews, Andrew (Amy) Smith and Hayden Hamlin and two great nieces and one great nephew.
David was predeceased by his mother, Jacqueline Dibley.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City. The family will receive visitors at the church prior to mass from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Following mass a luncheon will be held at the Algonac Lions Club. Arrangements by Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
