David E. Charron age 70 of Marine City, MI went home to be with our Lord on October 19, 2023. Born November 28, 1952 to Donald and Joan (Suisse) Charron of Saint Clair, MI.
David was a United States Army Veteran and a proud American. He served during the Vietnam era. He was a proud son, devoted husband, loving father and Papa. David loved the Lord with all of his heart and was a Godly man. He loved wood working, collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia, rock hounding, tinkering with everything, fixing what needed to be fixed. Nothing was ever broken until he said it was. David loved fishing, and making his own fishing lures. He took every opportunity he could to “Fish On!”. He loved collecting movies, especially DC and Marvel movies. He was also a fan of F.R.I.E.N.D.S the TV series, which he spent countless hours watching with his loved ones.

He was a carpenter and drywall worker by trade and also did electrical work. He took pride in everything he did, he became a “Jack of all Trades.” However, if he had to cook, you were going to starve or end up with his infamous “hot dog soup”.
David loved playing poker with his sons and spending time with “his girls”. He truly adored his many grandkids and played with them like a big kid. He loved his many pets throughout the years, including his dog, his baby, Chloe.

David touched every person he met. His love was extended to so many family members including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, his numerous friends and co-workers. He LOVED with all of his heart and had a hug for anyone who walked through his door.
David was a man that lived in the moment, he made every day feel like a gift. He was loving and caring, kind, always lending a hand. He guided his children in a gentle way and kept everyone laughing. His spirit was glorious; you always knew when he walked into a room. Knowing David/Dad/Papa was a gift that will always be cherished. He was one to pull pranks and do whatever it took to put a smile on your face. He loved his LORD with all of his heart, his faith never weakened. He knew he would be at peace with Jesus in the KINGDOM, knowing it wasn’t goodbye.
We will take all the love he shared, his lessons, knowledge and memories and keep his legacy alive. David lived an amazing journey that we were all lucky enough to share with him. He was truly a remarkable man, husband, father, Papa and friend. Dave touched us all and we are so grateful that he will be forever in our hearts… until we see him again on the “flip-flop”.
