David A. Calamita Jr.'s Obituary
David A. Calamita Jr., age 25, of Marine City, passed away suddenly on October 13, 2019. He was born November 8, 1993 to David Sr. and Kim Calamita. He graduated from Marine City High School in 2011. David worked as a metal machinist, with hard work and dedication, David proudly earned a gold metal in a national competition for Skills U.S.A. He was an avid fisherman, he loved mud trucks, country music, and especially his dog, Cooper. David had a big heart and was always the life of the party. He will be severely missed.
He is survived by his parents, David Sr. and Kim; sisters, Keri (Michael) Chipman, Nicole Calamita, Danielle Calamita; nieces and nephews, Ethan, Amelia, Lucas, and Skyler; grandparents, Janet Snar of Roseville and Arthur Snar of Lexington; girlfriend, Morgan Teltow, as well as many other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest Calamita, Andrew and Elanora Krempa.
A memorial service will be Friday, October 25th at 1:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Memorial gathering will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service on Friday. Memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
