David C. Anderson's Obituary
David C. Anderson, age 83, of Marysville, passed away July 29, 2020. He was born January 15, 1937 in Detroit to the late Charles and Irene Anderson. He proudly served his country in the Army, Navy and Air Force during the Korean War. He later worked for the Steamship Lines for 15 years and then retired as a financial analyst for Chrysler after 30 years of service.
He enjoyed many things including; playing recreational league hockey and baseball, he was an avid handball player and biking, where he would compete in the Wolverine 200 many times through the years. David was also a pilot and enjoyed building model planes.
He belonged to St. Christopher Catholic Church, Marysville and the American Legion.
He is survived by his friend and wife; Margie Anderson and his children; Emily Anderson and Joseph Anderson. He is also survived by his step-children; Tamara Weber and Terry Weber, along with his two brothers; John Anderson and Charles Anderson and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister; Nancy Shimmel and step-son; Tom Weber.
A memorial service will take place at a later date. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
