Daren Patrick McCormack's Obituary
Our beloved brother, uncle, cousin and nephew, Daren Patrick McCormack, age 58, of Port Huron passed away peacefully on Friday September 6, 2019 after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born October 17, 1960 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to the late Ann and Cal McCormack.
Daren graduated from Anchor Bay High School in 1979. He worked in the family business, McCormack Tile, for many years. He joined the United States Marine Corp, being discharged in 1982. Later he trained with the Merchant Marines earning his captain’s license.
He is survived by his family; brothers, Danny (Tracy) McCormack, Jeff (Lori) McCormack; sisters, Sharon (Ed) Lofek and Susan (Dave) Wilcox; nephews, Danny McCormack Jr., Adam McCormack, Brian Lofek, Steven Lofek, and John Volkman; nieces, Stacey McCormack and Paige McCormack; great nephews, Tyler Lofek and Emery McCormack; great nieces, Avery McCormack and Aliyah Lofek and numerous cousins and aunts.
Visitation is Thursday September 12, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family.
