Daniel Taylor (Dan) Herrin's Obituary
Daniel Taylor (Dan) Herrin, age 33, of St. Clair, passed away unexpectedly Monday February 18, 2019. He was born in Mt. Clemens on October 4, 1985 to his parents Roger and Pamela Herrin. He married Kathryn Day on June 08, 2013 on the beach at the Lake Port State Park in Lake Port MI.
He owned a repair shop Dans Auto LLC in East China since September 2017. He was an all around great loving person and an amazing father of 3 and husband and also an honest, reliable mechanic that no one could ever compare to. He enjoyed working on cars, four wheelers, snowmobile rides with his daughter, snuggles and being with his family and new adventures, going to fairs to see demolition derby’s and participating in figure 8 derby’s, loved old school music rap and rock n roll, he loved making his own recipes for cooking, he was a funny man, always happy and joking, his nickname says it all “Dan the Man” he truly was. There isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his family or friends. His smile, laughter and jokes will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his wife Kathryn (Day) Herrin and his 3 children Aubrianna (12) , Jameson (4), Braelynn (1). He is also survived by his parents Roger and Pamela Herrin and sister Jessica Herrin. He is preceded in death by his Mama and Papa Herrin, Grandpa and Grandma McDonald, Uncle Craig McDonald and beloved cousin Amie McDonald.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 23rd at 6:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will also be Saturday 4:00-6:00 p.m. prior to the service.
