What wasn't great about Dan, one of the best people I know
Dan and I went to Dan and I went to school school together lived on Pickford Rd. At opposite ends with our families and kids.Say hi to the boyz from us. So sorry for our loss, Dan is a great person
Babe… we only had 6 1/2 years of memories, but they were great ones. I not only knew that you were happy because you would tell me so many times but a lot of others came up to me, and said, they’ve never seen you happier. You’ve always shown me affection, love, respect, devotion, chivalry, values and attention. You were an empathetic, supportive, attentive, and a caring soul. Learn to do your best to have a discussion, not an argument. You were taken away from us way too soon. You told me you would save me a seat in heaven right next to you, I’m counting on it. I miss you every single moment of the day. You were my best friend & I was yours. See you again, someday, Babe.
Dan was a good friend in high school. I think of him often even today and always hoped we could get together again. I was so saddened to hear of his passing. It makes you realize how short life is. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
Danny, although life and family relationships could sometimes be complicated, please know you were deeply loved by your brother. Beneath my advice and concern was always a brother who wanted the best for you and wanted to see you happy and doing well in life. Your sudden passing leaves behind sadness, reflection, and many memories that will never be forgotten. Rest peacefully, Danny. You will always remain in my heart.
Brother, Chuck
I was a friend of Dan's brother Chuck, that's how I met him probably when he was 14 or 15 years old, really nice kid, watched him race the dirt bikes on the ice on the oval track out in one of the fields on the farm, RIP Dan, you'll be missed!

Dan and i were good friends through grade school (St. Mary's) and high school. When we were kids, Dan, Billy and I would ride our stingrays to school. we soon went to 10 speeds and then motorcycles. I remember having fun on the Claerhout farm fishing and swimming in the pond and riding horses. In fact, Lisa Grafton I was the kid on the other horse at your house on Mayer Road that day.
Dan and I started a band with Jim Pecor and a couple other guys. We played at the schoolhouse, wow that was fun, Dan was good singer. We would run cars on the quarter mile on Allington. and once rolled over my mom's 67 Mustang. Lotts of good memories
But of course, we grow up raise families, life flies by fast. We rarely seen each other but remained friends. Dan was kind person, What a really great guy.

I was so sad to her of your passing Uncle Dan. I have so many wonderful childhood memories of game nights, and swimming in the pool, vacations at the water park , and watching you guys on your motorcycles. You were always so sweet and kind and always had a smile on your face ! You will be missed. Xoxoxoxo

Danny lived approximately one mile from my family’s home, in St Clair, Michigan, when we were young. He rode his horse to our house, to give us rides. When it was my turn, my brother rode his bike around the corner of our house and startled the horse, making it rear up, making Danny and me fall off. The horse landed on my leg, when it suddenly fell, causing my leg to be scrapped on a 4x4 landscape timber, resulting in me getting gangrene and almost losing my leg, when I was 8 years old. I think it scared Danny, because he left and we never saw him again. Over the next 40+ years, I’ve often wondered what ever happened with him; hoping he didn’t blame himself.
My brother recently messaged me about his passing. I pray for comfort for his family and friends, as they grieve his loss.
Dan was always such a hard worker, so happy, had such a kind heart & just an all around great guy. He will be missed. Rest in peace Dan
