Cynthia Ann Griffor's Obituary
Cynthia Ann Griffor, age 56, of East China Twp., went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2011. She was born May 15, 1955 in St. Clair to the late Anthony and Mildred Tranchemontagne. On August 2, 1974 Cynthia Ann married George Griffor in Marine City. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and an active member of the church choir.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years George Griffor, daughter; Julie (Chris) Trudell, daughter in law; Jane (Tony) Griffor-Parson, grandchildren; Ashlyn Parson, Phillip and Anthony Griffor and Kate Trudell, siblings; Sandra (Ron) Salisbury, Percy Tranchemontagne and William (Amy) Tranchemontagne, sister in law; Veronica Tranchemontagne and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and in laws. She was preceded in death by a son; Phillip Griffor, brother; Tony Tranchemontagne, sister in law; Fran Tranchemontagne and a niece; Marie Tranchemontagne.
Funeral services will be Monday September 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, East China Twp. Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visiting hours are Saturday and Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. and Monday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
