I remember Uncle Connie as someone who enjoyed having a good time. He wanted people to be happy and was a good brother to my dad. He was unable to drive, but arranged to come to see my Pop when he was in a bad way. He enjoyed playing mail chess with my Uncle Bob. He was a true conversationalist. He rose above severe poverty as a child to accomplish much. His life was an example to his sons, all of whom turned out to be hard working, honest and caring men.
