Colen P. Hunter's Obituary
Colen P. Hunter, age 78, of St. Clair, passed away December 5, 2020. He was born August 20, 1942 in Rocklick, West Virginia to the late Milford and Glenna Hunter. He married Bethel Stevens on February 27, 1960. She preceded him in death on January 20, 2019. He worked at Wolverine Plating and retired after many years of service.
Colen still enjoyed fishing and was an avid hunter in his earlier years. Most of all he enjoyed his time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who affectionately called him "Paw Paw".
He is survived by his children; Gary Hunter and Tammy (Don) Badger. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Christopher (Lisa) Badger and Paul (Melissa) Badger, his great-grandchildren; Tyler, Kadie, Allison, and Jayden Badger, his sister; Brenda (Roger) Berry, along with many, many nieces, nephews and his fur-friend; Mickey.
He was preceded in death by his siblings; Harold Hunter, Francis Barlow, Joseph Hunter, Naomia Elam, Alice Faye, and Lois Candar.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Private interment will take place at Richmond Cemetery, Richmond. Face coverings will be required at the funeral home at this time.
