Codie M. Shovan's Obituary
Codie M. Shovan, age 26, of St. Clair, went home to be with Jesus on October 14, 2017, with his family and friends at his side.
Codie enjoyed many sports including golf, football, “Pistons Basketball” and hockey. He was also an avid Michigan football fan, “Go Blue”.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon (Erich) Eckelbarger; father, Kevin (Lisa) Shovan; brother, Jeff (Melissa) Barton; sisters, Tawny (Chase) Benge, Kayle and Julie Shovan; step sisters, Kortney, Halie and Ariel; grandparents; Judy Shovan, Donald Shovan and Bud Sayers; nephews, Jacob and Michael and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marie Sayers; cousins, Norvall Emig and Lonnie Schigur; Aunt Bonnie Hamilton and Uncle Ken Sayers.
Codie was known as a great guy and a great friend. He made many memories with his group of friends including Adam, Joe, Pat, Dan, Kelly, Mel B. and Mike to name a few.
A memorial service will be held Saturday October 21st at 12:00 p.m. at Grace Bible Church, 1600 Vine St., St. Clair.
