Clifford Riddle, age 91, of East China, Michigan, died peacefully on February 6, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. Born August 7, 1934, to Eddie R. Riddle and Beulah Hattie McCurdy, Cliff showed from an early age a tireless work ethic and a deep commitment to his family and https://community.After completing his education, Cliff answered the call to serve and spent more than 24 years in the U.S. Army serving his country in multiple roles and armed conflicts. Following a distinguished military career, he continued to serve the nation by supporting the space program at the Marshall Space Flight Center before retiring for a second time. He also served as a distinguished member of Gideons International for many decades. Though proud of his service and professional accomplishments, his favorite role was always being “Grandaddy.” For more than three decades he taught his grandchildren how to grow, tend a real garden, bale hay in the “right” manner, how driving a flatbed truck is harder than it looks, and why devotion to the Lord is the foundation of a good https://life.Cliff’s faith in God and his conviction that through Christ all things are possible shaped a legacy that touched families across multiple states. He is survived by his devoted wife of over 49 years, Linda Riddle; his sister Vivian Woodson; his children Wendy (Jim) Hampton, Stephen Riddle, Donna Dehner, Renee (Barry) Edmondson, and Eric (Jessica) Riddle; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie R. Riddle and Beulah Hattie McCurdy.
