Clayton Bedard's Obituary
Clayton George Bedard, age 62, of East China Twp., died June 23, 2010.
Born April 15, 1948 in Strathroy, Ontario. He married Cheryl Haacke on August 24, 1969.
He worked for Dalzen Manufacturing/Bedco Inc. in East China retiring in 2005.
He was a member of St. Clair Lions Club and received Lion of the Year Award in 2009.
Clayton enjoyed coaching his daughters and attending his grandchildren's sporting events for years. He enjoyed fishing with his grandsons, bowling, and country music.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl Bedard.
Children; Merina Moran, Lisa Starbuck, and Shannon (Christopher) Spezia, grandchildren; Jessica, Kole, Drew, Conner, Jason, Clayton, and Trinity.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jean and Mabel Bedard.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp., interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery, East China Twp. Serving as pallbearers are Robert and Mac MacLachlan, Brian Morgan, Robert Dubay, Raymond Carroll, Nick McCabe, Christopher Spezia, and James O'Niel. Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visiting hours are Saturday 7:00 to 9:00 and Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
In leiu of flowers memorials may be made to Blue Water Hospice or the St. Clair Lions Club.
