Clarence A. "Driller" Miller's Obituary
Clarence A. Miller “Driller”, age 73, of Katy, Texas formerly of St. Clair, passed away January 2, 2021 at home with his family by his side. Clarence “Butch” known by family was born on July 28, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Clarence R. and Genevieve Miller.
Butch graduated from Holy Cross High School in Marine City in 1965. After graduation he served 4 years during the Vietnam War 1966-1970 as a Radio Commander for the U.S. Air Force. He married Kathy Weber on October 22, 1971 at St. Mary’s Church in St. Clair. For 20 plus years Butch worked as an electrical engineer for the Nuclear Power Plants across the Country. In 1987 on Christmas Eve Butch married “His Bride” Marcia Lee in Augusta, Maine, she preceded him in death in 2003.
He is survived by his 5 children, Stephanie (Brian) Downer, Andrea Miller, Rebecca (Donnie) Miller-Haughney, Brendan Lee and Darren Lee; grandchildren, Emily, Kaitlyn, Anthony, Lauren, Juliet, Kayla, Jenna; siblings, Gloria Lozon, Tom (Debbie) Miller, Jim (June) Miller, Harvey Miller, Maggie (Jim) Johnston, Julie (Bill) Klieman, Debbie (Paul) Schweihofer, Gary (Hilary) Miller along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brother Ronnie; in-laws, Daniel (Miggy) Hall, Jenny Hall and sister in-law Patty Miller.
Butch will be laid to rest with Military Honors on January 29, 2021 at Houston National Cemetery, Houston Texas.
