Clara C. Westrick's Obituary
Clara Christine Westrick, age 87, of Casco Twp., passed away February 25, 2024. She was the first born to the late Ervin and Rachel (Kennedy) Muggelberg.
Clara married Harold Westrick on May 17, 1958. He preceded her in death on July 29, 2016. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair.
Clara was employed by River District Hospital for several years and then worked at the St. Clair Medical Center for many years.
She is survived by son and daughters; Mike (Sue) Westrick, Anne (Leo) Distelrath and Mary (Mark) Armstrong, Sr. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Matthew (Sara) Distelrath, Nathan (Heather) Distelrath, Brian (Alexandra) Westrick, Mark (Bailey) Armstrong, Jr. and Mary (Dan) Bogdan and 7 precious great-grandchildren; Jaxon and Maxwell Distelrath, Sawyer, Merritt and Devon Distelrath, Nola Coupe and Wilder Armstrong. Clara is also survived by one sister in-law; Linda (Bob) Quirk.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sister; Bill (Donna) Muggelberg, Ralph Muggelberg and Frances (Nate) Walker.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to family wishes.
