Cindy Rose Grobelski's Obituary
Cindy Rose Grobelski, age 65, of China Twp. passed away peacefully with family by her side on October 23, 2025. She was born on September 6, 1960, to Donald and Rosemary Gibbs. Cindy earned her bachelor’s degree in business from Central Michigan University. She married, David Grobelski on October 7, 1989. Cindy was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. She was a devoted wife and embraced being a mother. Her selfless nature: Cindy loved caring for her family and cherished the time she spent with them. Her love and compassion will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, David Grobelski; daughters, Rebecca (Myron) Johnson, Jaclyn Grobelski; grandson, Jacoby Johnson; parents, Donald (Rosemary) Gibbs; siblings, Laura Wilson, Donald Gibbs Jr.; sister-in-law, Karen Gibbs, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Philip Wilson.
A funeral service will take place on Monday, October 27th at 1:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
