Christine Kotranza's Obituary
Christine Kotranza, passed to be with the Father on September 27, 2009. Christine was born on October 2, 1919 in Minot, North Dakota.
She married Stephen Kotranza on October 25, 1941 in Detroit and later moved to Columbus Township to raise their family. Christine loved to garden and preserve food that kept the family going through hard times. She also never turned down a good card game.
Mrs. Kotranza is survived by her children; Jerry (Dorothy) Kotranza, Robert (Carolyn) Kotranza, Karen (Frank) Pawlak, Steven (Rosemary) Kotranza, Elena (Harvey) Westrick, Philip (Dana) Kotranza. Christine has 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Josie and Babe.
Preceded in death by her dear husband, Stephen.
She will be greatly missed by her family.
The family will receive visitors at Young Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 5-8pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. Additional visitation will be 9:30-10am at the church on Wednesday. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
