Christine A. Finn's Obituary
Christine A. Finn, age 72, of Marysville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 18, 2026. She was born on February 10, 1954 to Barbara and the late Allen Weirmeir. Christine was a graduate of Utica High School, class of 1972. She married Edwin F. Finn Jr. on July 8, 1972. Christine loved sharing her knowledge and passion for antiques and collectibles with her son-in-law, Tom. Together they created Optimum Estate Sale Services in 2017. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed using her creative mind on projects. Whether it was an ad design, floral arrangements, or party planning, Christine could easily create something special. She was no stranger to a good time. Christine cherished her time socializing with family and friends. On those occasions, she was sure to have a Captain and Coke with a lime. Her devotion, sense of humor, and strong-willed spirit will be missed by all who knew Christine.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Edwin F. Finn Jr.; children, April (Tom) Churchill, Jason Finn; grandchildren, Tommy (Kaily Koth) Churchill, Alexis (Owen Lawson) Churchill, Kiley (Eric Stone) Churchill, Brodie (Trinity Clark) Churchill, Tina Finn; mother, Barbara Weirmeir; siblings, Allen (Leslie) Weirmeir Jr., David Weirmeir; Cathleen (Todd) Jones, Cynthia (Robert) Rietze; sister-in-law, Loretta McCauley, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Allen Weirmeir; in-laws, Edwin Sr. and Martha Finn.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 28th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be on Friday, February 27th from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. as well as 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service on Saturday. Memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family.
