Christine M. Dipietro's Obituary
Christine M. Dipietro, age 68, of Algonac, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home with her husband by her side on November 17, 2021. She was born December 23, 1952 in St. Clair to the late Robert and Rochelle Wagner. Chris was a graduate of Algonac High School. She married Joe Dipietro on July 25, 1988. Following their marriage, Joe and Chris moved to Boston where they lived for several years before moving back to Algonac in 2014 to be closer to Chris’s family. Chris was an avid animal lover. She treated her dogs and especially cats as if they were family. Chris enjoyed her vacations to Florida and the Bahamas. She especially liked going to Cape Cod with their friends and visiting Martha’s Vineyard. Chris was a compassionate, easy-going person, who could make friends where ever she went.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Joe; son, Scott (Lindsay) Currier; grandsons, Brady and Jacob; brothers, Robert (Vicki) Wagner, Ronald (Lee) Wagner; brother-in-law, Bob MacLeod
She is preceded in death by her sister, Rochelle MacLeod.
