Christine E. Beier's Obituary
Christine E. Beier, age 86, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully at home following a short illness. She was born June 1, 1929 in Detroit to the late Stephen and Mary Foley. On September 17, 1949 Christine married Robert A. Beier in Peters, Michigan.
Christine was an active member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair for 62 years. She was coordinator of the funeral luncheon committee for many years, member of the Alter Guild and also taught Sunday School.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert A. Beier, daughters; Cynthia Beier Greeson and Mary Ellyn (Don) Snyder, son, Robert C. (Ann) Beier, grandchildren; Laura (Arden) Howell, Brent (Amanda) Snyder, Dayna Snyder, Robert P. Beier and Randall Beier, great grandchildren; Adrienne Howell and Jaxson Snyder and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Foley and sister Lillian Martindale.
Funeral service will be Thursday April 7th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Thursday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at church prior to service.
