Charlotte Ann Genshow's Obituary
Charlotte Ann Genshow, 94 of Marine City, died peaceful on April 7, 2021. Charlotte was born December 22, 1926 in Starville, Michigan to the late Milton and Agnes Simons. On June 26,1948 she married Kenneth Genshow at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Peters.
Charlotte worked at Chris Craft, then later worked for East China School District. There she drove a school bus for 22 years which she enjoyed and had many memories. Her love of making handmade quilts, crochet blankets, gardening and canning were here hobbies. She helped in 4-H and was a member of the Ladies Aide at church. She and Ken hosted camp outs for the church on their property. She enjoyed Square Dancing Club, snowmobiling, Card Club of 40 years and RV camping with family and friends.
She is survived by her children Pamela (Duane) Salamin, Todd Genshow, Kevin (Carol) Genshow, grandchildren Jason Salamin, Amanda Salamin, Nicole (Jeff) Cieslak, Ryan (Kara) Genshow and Kyle (Lichelle) Genshow, great grandchildren, Connor, Kane, Autumn, Case, Lucas, and Levi. Including many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ken, Brothers Lavern, Brother and sister-in-law Maitland and Ivah Simons, Gary and Wesley. Charlotte will be remembered as a loving, caring, gentle mother who was always ready to lend a hand.
Memorials are suggested to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Peters, Michigan. Private graveside services will be held for immediate family.
