Charles Leslie Emig's Obituary
Charles Leslie Emig, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on October 28, 2011 in Harlingen, Texas. Charles (Charlie) was born in St. Clair, Michigan on July 8, 1918 to Oswald and Delia Emig. He married Dorothy Duetsch on January 18, 1941 and they enjoyed 65 wonderful years together until Dorothy’s passing on October 17, 2006.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen Krzewski of Shelby Township, Michigan: son, Charles Gary Emig Sr., and his wife Rose of San Antonio, Texas. His five grandchildren and their spouses: Randy and Cheryl Krzewski, David and Melissa Krzewski, Michelle and Pete Bilder, Dawn and Todd Sansoterra, Charles and Lauren Emig, Jr; his thirteen great grandchildren; Shannon, Tonya, Madeline, David Jr., Megan, Margaret, Hannah, Cameron, LeAnn, Ben, David, George, and Isabelle.
Viewing will be on Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 3pm – 8pm at Young Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 10:00am at Young Funeral Home. Pastor William H. Otten will be officiating.
