Chuck & Judy were my cottage neighbors for the past 30 years. Over the years we have became more of a family than just being good neighbors. What I will remember the most about chuck, were our fishing trips out onto the lake. We spent numerous hours out on the lake, fishing, talking, and telling stories about the big one that got away. He even taught me what a pot licker was. Oh how we laughed and had a good time. We even caught some fish too.
The four of us (Chuck, Judy, Cookie and me) had enjoyed many meals together over the years, and even had a drink or two on the porch talking about everything and anything. When we had our little gatherings with our other neighbors on Friday nights for coffee, cake and ice cream, Chuck always made sure he had his fair share of everything he has coming to him. For a little guy, that man sure could eat. When the conversation got dull, Chuck could always come up with some one liner that would make everyone laugh.
At this time,I want to extend my deepest sympathy to his wife Judy, all his children and grandchildren and in-laws. We won’t forget you Judy, and hopefully we can help you along with your family, through your time of sorrow. We are just a phone call away.
Chuck, my dear friend, may you be at the pearly gates of heaven, looking down upon us today and seeing what you meant to so many people. You will be greatly missed, but not forgotten. May you now rest in peace.
Your dear friend,
