Charles (known as "Uncle Chuck" to us kids and as "Chuckie" to my grandma) will be missed. He was such a cool uncle. I will always remember him being tan and smiling - he had a fabulous laugh. He had a motorcycle that he was so proud of, which he would tinker with in the basement of my grandma's house (and we would watch). I remember when he took my sister and I for a ride in a convertible around the neighborhood when we were very young. It's little memories like those that will keep him around in my heart. I also remember when we were very young, my grandma would put M&M's in a small coffee cup for us. My sister set hers on the counter that was higher than she could see. My grandpa had a similar mug and poured a hot coffee, my sister then picked up the mug and spilled hot coffee down the front of her. Chuck whisked her into an ice cold shower and then to the emergency room. She turned out to be fine because of his quick action. He will always be a hero. I am happy knowing that he is now reunited with the love of his life and I know that my grandma will be so happy to see her "Chuckie"! Prayers to family and others who took such good care of him.
