Charles "Chuck" White's Obituary
Charles “Chuck” White Jr., age 75, of Burtchville Twp. passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side on May 25, 2026. Chuck was born November 12, 1950 in Niagara Falls, New York to the late Charles Sr. and Myrtle White.
Chuck graduated from Lewiston-Porter High School in Lewiston, New York in 1968. Following high school he proudly served with the U.S. Navy from 1968 to 1971 during the Vietnam War achieving rank of Gunners Mate. On August 26, 1972 Chuck married Michele Balbo and they enjoyed 53 years of marriage. In 1974 Chuck furthered his education with business management classes and also began his career in the brokerage business with various companies. He retired in 2014 from Trans American Customs and Logistics.
Chuck volunteered his time during the 1980’s with both the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He had a great love of hunting and fishing and was also an avid coin and stamp collector. Chuck also had a passion for everything Disney. For the last 10 years he looked forward to wintering with Michele in Zephyrhills, Florida.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Michele White; daughter and son in law, Karry and Christopher Herber and son, Charles White; grandchildren, Briana (Zackary) Adamick, Isabella (Justin) Hampton, Nicholas (Abby) Herber and Hannah Herber; great grandchildren, Emalynn, Zackary Jr. and Christian; sister, Karen Bernier.
He was preceded in death by his brother in law, Patrick Bernier.
Honoring Chuck’s final wishes, private family services have been conducted.
Memorials are suggested to Christ Outreach For The Blind.
