Mike and I worked together at Bill MacDonald Ford for several years, I always looked forward to working with Mike. I considered him a good friend and always had a smile on his face. Mike, you will be truly missed!! Ride on my friend!
I’m saddened to hear that mike had passed away. I only saw him half a dozen times a year or so when I delivered vehicles to the dealership he would check them in and we would shoot the breeze talk politics which was easy we agreed On everything. I remember when he came down to Grosse isle to rent an Rv for a trip to sturis with the motorcycle. He told me about the whole trip. About 10 minutes before I got to the dealership I had to call my company in Kansas City beacause I was having computer issues. When I spoke with one of our techs who I don’t speak with very often and there are quite a few them so I really don’t know any of them he sounded like a middle aged guy and it took about 10 minutes for him to fix my tablet. We had a nice discussion on different topics, like I said it took about 10 minutes and as I pulled up to Fred Grande ford we said so long I told him it was a pleasure to speak with him. I dropped off an F150 and I spoke with new guy that was at mikes desk and he told me how mike retired and moved down to Tennessee and that after a couple weeks he had passed away and I thought about how id miss those conversations with him. He was a nice guy to talk to even if it was just once a month or so. What I found odd is that the gentleman I spoke with befor I got to the dealership that I didn’t know! And that I enjoyed the conversation with His name, Mike.
Thankyou for showing me the world in a beautiful way at such a young age, and thankyou for amazing cousins and an incredible Aunt. I love you and will think of you always.
I missed a lot of time spent with you due to the distance, but my connection with you remained throughout the years. When we reconnected, I could not have been happier! I was looking forward to so many more cherished moments! I can only imagine that you and Dad are having many laughs together right now! We have all lost a very special person and I struggle understanding why you were taken so soon! Our time was short, but my memories are forever! Rip Mike! Love, Trina
