Charles G. Davis' Obituary
Charles G. Davis, age 78, of Fort Gratiot, passed away peacefully November 28, 2021. He was born September 24, 1943 in Algonac to the late Lester and Irene Davis. Chuck married Donna Lago on August 8, 1970. He honorably served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. After the service he worked for the City of Marine City in their water and waste water treatment plant for 42 years.
Chuck was most proud of being a member of the Algonac high School Band and later on played the organ and created his own music. He loved being the center of attention would talk to anyone and everyone, but most times he just enjoyed spending time and talking with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Donna; children, Constance (Michael) Fisher, Christopher (Lanikki) Davis, Stacey Howe; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 20 nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brother LaVern Davis; sisters, Mary Joyce Gillis and June Glazer.
