Celine E. Warchol's Obituary
Celine E. Warchol, age 84, of East China Twp., went peacefully home to the Lord on October 2, 2021. She was born March 30, 1937 in Detroit to the late Stanley and Jennie Kozak. On May 4, 1957 Celine married Richard D. Warchol at the Sweetest Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Detroit. He predeceased her on October 2, 2019.
Celine loved traveling. The time spent with her family is what she cherished most. She will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Warchol, Marie Kruckenberg, Carol (Joe) Maltese, Therese (John) Berlinger, John Warchol (Gina Nowicki), Diane (Peter) Stein and Gary (Kate) Warchol; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Terry Bartkowiak; sisters in law, Jane Warchol and Patricia Jurczak and many nieces and nephews. Celine was preceded in death by her grandson, Carl Kruckenberg, four brothers and three sisters.
A funeral mass will be Saturday October 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, OLR Parish, Marine City. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Visiting hours Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Saturday 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at church prior to mass. A rosary will be recited Friday at 7:00 p.m.
