Cecilia V. Kozlowski's Obituary
Heaven gained an angel on October 14, 2022 as Cecilia V. Kozlowski passed away peacefully. She was born January 13, 1925 in Wyandotte to the late John and Emilia Jonkin. On May 5, 1945 she married Charles Kozlowski. He preceded her in death on December 5, 2010.
She loved spending time with her family and cooking for them in her earlier years. Cecilia also enjoyed playing bingo and bird watching.
She is survived by her daughter; Cheryl (Paul) Mihelic and daughter in-law; Victoria Kozlowski. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Dwayne Kozlowski, Mark Kozlowski, Melissa (Kevin) Simonetta, Dana Mihelic (Derek Izworski) and Matthew (Jessica) Mihelic, her great-grandchildren; Shane, Hunter, Cody, Katie, Emily, Chloe, Ally, Kaleb, Alexis, Cameron, Drake, Brynlee, Brody, Bryce, Ashton along with great-great grandson; Hunter.
Her sisters in-laws; Doris Simon and Lillian Cyranski also survive along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son; Ronald Kozlowski, brother; Stanley Simon, sister; Emily Loyer and nephews; Bradley Simon, Steve Simon, and Michael Loyer.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 23 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. There will be a memorial gathering from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. prior to the service.
