Catalino "Buddy" Bernardo's Obituary
Catalino A. “Buddy” Bernardo, age 44, of Port Huron passed away April 11, 2020. He was born February 21, 1976 in San Diego, California.
Buddy was a graduate of Marysville High School. He was a direct care worker for area group homes and had a gift for working well with the mentally disabled. He loved playing softball and played for many area softball teams. Buddy was also a strong advocate for sobriety. He was heavily involved with AA and sponsored many members in the recovery community.
He is survived by his son, Christian Bernardo and daughter, Aubrie Bernardo; mother, Sue Kasemeyer; brother, Rob Bernardo (Meghan Crowley); fiancé, Trina Anderson and her children, Gavin Feldhouse and Brianna Anderson; nieces and nephews, Amberly and Colin Bernardo and Bradley Dickenson and many aunts, uncles, cousins in both Michigan and California.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert Bernardo and grandparents Robert W. and Rita Gunn.
