Cary W. Jett's Obituary
Cary W. Jett, age 95, of Marine City, died November 27, 2012. He was born to the late Wallace and Myrtle Jett on October 23, 1917 in Illinois. He served with the U.S. Army in World War II. He retired from Chrysler Corporation after 32 years of service. He belonged to Fellowship Baptist Church where he served as a usher. He enjoyed gardening as well as long walks through town.
He is survived by his children; Cary Jett, Jr., Carol (Bob) Jolly, Helen (fiance Brad) Meddaugh, Bob (Pam) Jett, Dana Jett, Butch (Michelle) Jett, Larry Jett, step-children; Skip (Mary) DuVall, Wyman (Linda) DuVall, Pat Store, Shirley (Carl) Grimmit, Chuck (Robin) DuVall. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great children and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife; Virginia Jett, son; Billy Jett, step-daughter; Violet, brother; Raymond, and sister; Opal.
Service will be held on Friday, November 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, East China, Twp. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4:00 p.m and 6 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Friday 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at church prior to service. Interment will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Twp.
