Carole Jean Piper (Senger)'s Obituary
Carole Jean Piper (Senger), age 85, of Marine City, peacefully went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2026. She was born on April 2, 1940 to the late Frank and Germaine Senger. Carole married Thomas Derocher in 1993, who preceded her in death in 2016. Carole was a dedicated worker, who found joy in connecting with others. She worked in retail as a sales associate for 27 years. She cherished her coworkers and customers, always bringing conversation and a genuine smile to those she was around. In her younger years, Carole had an adventurous spirit. She spent time in Winter Haven Florida, where she was a Cypress Gardens model, embracing new experiences and going wherever life and her heart led her. That spontaneous lifestyle, partially carried into her later years, as she created lasting memories with her children going on various trips and vacations. Carole was a woman of faith, who was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City.
She is survived by her daughters, Julianne Boulier, Amy (Jeff) Hill, Victoria “Cissy” (Bernie Bradock) Maynard, Shannon Piper; grandchildren, Amberly (Forrest), Lindsay (John), Michaela (Michael), Lucas, Logan, Nathan, Gavin, Jordan, Julia, Michael; 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Warren (Jeannie) Senger, Gail (Joseph) Posey, Patrick (Diane) Senger, as well as several nieces, nephews, family member and close friends.
She is preceded in death by her son; Michael Piper, siblings; Ronald Senger, Julianne Caraway, Robert Senger, Mary Bachler, Frank Senger, Michael Senger.
Cremation arrangements with Young Funeral Home, China Twp. A memorial mass will be on Thursday, March 26th at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City. A memorial visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. There will be family sharing memories at 11:15 a.m. before processing to the church for mass. Urn interment to follow mass at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Blue Water Hospice Home.
