Carol Susan Lee's Obituary
Carol Susan Lee, age 80 of Marine City, passed away March 2, 2025. She was born June 29, 1944 in St. Clair to James and Pansy Dewey.
Carol graduated from Marine City High School in 1961 and then attended Southeastern Michigan College of Commerce. On April 2, 1965, Carol Dewey married Robert Lee.
Carol worked for many years in the family business, Dewey’s Bakery. She also owned and operated the Sugar Shack in Mio, Michigan with her husband, Robert. When returning back to the area, Carol was employed at River District Hospital for 16 years.
Carol was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #382. She was an active member and loved volunteering and baking for special events. Carol made friends wherever she went. Her warm greetings, gracious heart and playful personality will be remembered by all who crossed her path.
Carol is survived by her loving son, James Lee (Kim Field), cherished grandchildren, Robert Lee and Kristina (Josh) Parker; great grandchildren, Connor, Lucas and Kali and dear sister, Jewel Baker along with many cherished cousins and friends.
Carol was predeceased by her husband, Robert Lee; parents, James and Pansy Dewey and brothers, Peter and Paul Dewey.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post #382, St. Clair.
