Carmen T. Mayhew's Obituary
Carmen T. Mayhew, age 85, of Columbus Twp. passed away on August 7, 2014. She was born to the late Walter and Gertrude Parenteau on July 2, 1929 in Roseville. She married Alfred Mayhew in Roseville. He preceded her in death in 1991. She was a long time member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond. She was also a member of F.O.E. in Fair Haven. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards and her time spent with family.
She is survived by her children; Juanita (Bill) Miller, David (Donna) Mayhew, Arlene (Tom) Seamans III, Alfred Mayhew, Debbie (Ron) Graham. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren,1 brother and 1 sister, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by a son; Bruce Mayhew, granddaughter; Heather, 1 brother and 6 sisters.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m.on Monday, August 11 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond. Interment will be at St. Michael Cemetery, Richmond. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at church prior to mass. A rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
