Carman Osterland's Obituary
Carman (Ryan) Osterland, age 46, of Clay Twp., formally of Emmett, passed away unexpectedly May 17, 2018. She was born on August 11, 1971 in Yale, Michigan. Carman graduated from Yale High School in 1989. She married James Osterland August 14, 2000. Carman was a very dedicated wife and mother, her family was her life.
She is survived by her husband, James Osterland; children, Kayla Ryan, Samantha, and Ryan Osterland; father, Martin Ryan; siblings, Cheryl (Richard) King, Kathleen (Brian) Moore, Martin Ryan, Michael Ryan, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Karen Ryan.
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, May 23 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Emmett. Visiting hours will be Monday, May 21 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, May 22 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Additional visitation will be held 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the Mass on Wednesday.
