Carl N. Sharrow's Obituary
Carl N. Sharrow, age 77, of Marine City, passed away May 9, 2025. He was born November 21, 1947 in St. Clair, Michigan to the late Leo and Emma (Horkey) Sharrow.
Carl graduated from Marine City High School in 1965 and following graduation started his first job at Pontiac Motors. From Pontiac Motors Carl worked for the Detroit Edison Marysville Power Plant for over nine years. Carl’s final 30 years of employment was spent sailing the Great Lakes and Oceans as a Chief Engineer with Exxon Oil. He also assisted with the clean-up effort from the Exxon Valdez oil spill. Carl was also a classic car enthusiast.
He is survived by his children, Kim White, Mason Sharrow and Dale Volker; grandson, Hunter Sharrow; brother, Albert (Katie) Sharrow; cousins, Melvin Sharrow and Phyllis Hart; dear friend, Art Hratchian and his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Carl was predeceased by his brother, Timothy (Kim) Sharrow.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and urn interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery, East China Twp.
