Carl F. Ladensack's Obituary
Carl F. Ladensack, age 99, of Marine City, passed away peacefully February 4, 2016 with his family at his side. He was born May 6, 1916 in Detroit.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lois (Weber) in 2005. He is survived by sons; Francis (Wendy) and Carl A. (Shirley) Ladensack, 3 grandsons; Philip (Sheila), Scott (Stephanie) and Adam. A granddaughter, Shannon (Bill) Berg 3 great granddaughters; Sarah, Jordan and Addison and two great grandsons Warren and Weston.
Carl was a cook in World War II for the 84th Battalion. He and Lois enjoyed several trips to Europe and travelling the U.S. for his army reunions. Carl had a passion for gardening, cooking and enjoyed painting pictures.
Cremation has taken place and a funeral mass will be held Saturday February 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Our Lady on the River Parish, Marine City. A luncheon will follow at the Riviera Restaurant, Marine City.
