Bruce Leon DeFrane's Obituary
Bruce Leon DeFrane, age 61, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on July 24th, 2020. He was born on September 3, 1958 to the late Leon and Norma DeFrane. Bruce graduated from Richmond High School in 1977. On September 4, 1981 he married Judy Kapanka. Bruce owned and operated his excavating business his entire life. He also had various smaller business throughout his career. In his free time Bruce would like to go hunting, camping, motorcycle riding, and he especially loved spending time with his family. Bruce enjoyed socializing, he had a gift to make people laugh and smile. He was a hardworking man that would always put others needs before his own. He is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Jennifer (Mike Barnes) DeFrane, Katie (Travis) Frendt, David DeFrane; sister, Cindy (Steve) Moelter, as well as many special family members and friends. Cremations arrangements have been made with Young Funeral Home, China Twp. A celebration of life will be Saturday, August 15th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 4151 Rattle Run, St. Clair, MI 48079.
