Brian Christopher Lanter's Obituary
Brian Christopher Lanter, age 54, of Anchorage, Alaska, formerly of St. Clair, died unexpectedly from heart failure on November 6, 2016. He was born August 4, 1962. Brian attended St. Clair High School, then enlisted in the U.S. Army and attained his GED. He served honorably and whole heartedly from 1980 to 1983 while stationed in Germany.
Brian was a talented mechanic that helped many people. He also worked many years in the tool and die industry. He was always working on something mechanical.
Brian is survived by his mother, Juanita Lanter of China Twp. and predeceased by his father Terrance Lanter Sr. in 2009. He is also survived by his siblings; Terry (Sandy) of Bellaire, Mich, Lyle (Gina) of Clinton Twp., Robin (Scott) Bell of China Twp., Keith of China Twp., Danielle (Josh) Lanter of Hollywood, Florida and Matthew (Agi) Lanter of San Francisco, California. Several Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, special Alaskan neighbor, Frank Southard and longtime Anchor Bay Drive friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday November 26th at 2 p.m. at the St. Clair Lions Club. The family will receive visitors prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. The service will be followed by luncheon and fellowship at the hall until 5 p.m. Private interment with military honors will be in Balfour Cemetery, China Twp., at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family, American Heart Assoc. or Community Mental Health.
