Brian B. Gillis' Obituary
Brian Gillis, age 59, of Algonac passed away March 3, 2014. He was born to the late Ralph and June Gillis on June 3, 1954 in Detroit. He married Renee Sachs on April 6, 1974 in Algonac. He enjoyed spending time in his garage fixing things for friends and neighbors. He especially enjoyed his time spent with his grandson and children.
He is survived by his wife; Renee Gillis, children; Brandy and Brad Hranach, Rocky and Mary Gillis, and grandson; Blaine Hranach. He is also survived by his sister; Peggy (Len) Briskey, brothers; Mark (Debbie) Gillis, David Gillis, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 8 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
