Braeden Gerald Melms' Obituary
Braeden Gerald Melms, age 19, of St. Clair, went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2021. He was born on September 30, 2001 to Chad Melms and Michelle Emerick. When he was younger, Braeden excelled in hockey playing for the Blue Water Stars. That team went on to finish runner up in the state, an accomplishment Braeden took pride in. Braeden was a go- getter, a driven, ambitious young man who had a great work ethic. He approached every day with a positive attitude. He was very conscious of his appearance, wearing the nicest clothes and especially shoes. He took pride in being in shape and would work out every day to maintain his form. Braeden loved to listen to his music. Family and friends would know where to find Braeden because he would have the music playing loud for everyone to hear.
He is survived by his parents; Chad Melms and Michelle (Fred Kloss) Emerick; siblings, Autumn (Mason), Skyler, Leah, Buddy, Macy, Collin, and Gavin; grandparents, Robert Gerald (Joyce) Emerick, Lisa (Doug) Hadwin, Chuck Melms, Grandma Skeeter; nieces and nephews, Felicity, Kaedence, Maverick; aunts and uncles; Craig (Jennifer) Melms, Amber Emerick, Mika Todo, as well as several special family members of the Melms and Kloss families, including many special friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandma Carol Melms and grandpa Ned.
