Bonnie A. McNichol's Obituary
Bonnie A. McNichol, age 79, of Clay Twp, passed away in the comfort of her own home with her family by her side on April 23, 2023. She was born on September 17, 1943 to the late James and Geraldine Mair.
Bonnie worked as a bus driver for Richmond Community Schools, retiring after over 25 years of service. In her spare time, she loved to fish on the St. Clair River. She was known as the queen of the river. She also, enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and above all, she truly cherished the time she spent with her family. She lived for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her 3 children, Daniel McNichol, Dawn Copenhagen, Heide Storey; grandchildren, Sarah and Daniel III McNichol, Rion (Kendall) Copenhagen, Joey (Marybeth) Copenhagen, Bailee (Jake) Danneels, Kennedy and Preston Storey; 5 great grandchildren; significant other, Gary Bartolomucci; and faithful companion, Emma.
She is preceded in death by her son in law, Ron Copenhagen.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 28th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be Thursday, April 27th from 4:00p.m. to 9:00 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to with wishes of the family.
