What can I say that hasn't been said or will be said. Bonnie "Mom" was a very kind and loving person who would do anything for her family and she proved that over and over. Within family circles it was well known that Mom and I had a rocky relationship at times but I knew she always trusted that her grandsons and daughter were in good hands. I have two memories in particular that I want to share. First, Feb 13 1992' the day we came back from Guam. To this day I have never seen anyone as excited, happy and joyful to see three people as she was that day. I remember walking out of the skyway into Metro Airport and her smile lit the concourse, it was a wonderful feeling to bring her daughter and grandson home. The other time is the last time I saw her, Christmas of '09. I stopped by her apartment and it was just her and I. For the first time in over 20 years we talked about the boys, Bonnie, Virginia and my job. She told me she was proud of us that day, it was the nicest conversation her and I ever had.
To the entire family thank you for sharing her with the rest of us.##imported-begin##Jim Lacek##imported-end##
