Billie H. Sluck's Obituary
Billie H. Sluck of Warren, MI passed away peacefully at home with family after a long illness on February 16, 2026. Billie was born on March 14, 1948 to John and Stella Sluck in Detroit, MI. Billie was drafted into the U.S. Army at 18 and served active duty in the Vietnam War. Upon his return home to the states, he married Beverly Zadorski and had two boys, Billie, Jr. (1977) and John (1980). He worked as a crane technician and traveled the United States for work. Billie enjoyed many outdoor activities which included hunting, fishing, and camping with his family and friends. He enjoyed teaching the younger generations his love and knowledge of the outdoors.
Billie is survived by his two boys; Billie Jr. grandson Billie and John (Crystal); step grandchildren (Rosemary and Brandon); stepdaughter Diane (Nuo), Nucalaj, Grandchildren, Nikko Danny, and Vera. Brothers Michael and Patrick Sluck (Carol), as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Stella Sluck; Brothers John, Freddy, Eddie, Arthur, Casey, and Steve Sluck.
Cremation arrangements have been made with Young-Colonial Funeral Home. A memorial visitation and service will be held on March 14, 2026 with the location and time to be determined. Interment services which include military honors, will be held in Holly, MI at Great Lakes National Cemetery on a later date for close family and friends.
