Betty Margaret Summerville's Obituary
Betty Margaret Summerville, age 92, of Marine City, passed away August 31, 2018. She was born September 7, 1925. On January 5, 1946 Betty Emery married Ervin D. Summerville. He preceded her in death in 2004.
Betty was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ where she was active with Mary Martha, quilting and other activities at the church. She was also a member of Washington Life Center where she was also a quilter.
Betty is survived by her children, Dennis Summerville, Diane Jenks and Donna Summerville; grandchildren, Danny (Shannon) Jenks, Brandi (TJ) Tribell, Justin, Mallory and Garrett Summerville; great grandchildren, Jackson, Natalie and Rhys Jenks and Carter Tribell; brother, LaVerne Emery and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sons, David and Dick; son in law, Dale Jenks; sisters, Rosemary, Shirley, Theresa and Dorothy.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday September 6th at 12 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visitation will be prior to service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Urn interment will be in Smith Cemetery, Cottrellville Twp.
