Betty Peters' Obituary
Betty Jane Peters, age 81, of Fort Gratiot formally of St. Clair died July 7, 2009. She was born June 10, 1928 in Highland Park to Albert and Clara Cherget.
Proud descendant of an American Revolutionary Soldier. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, fishing, and listening to classical music.
Betty is survived by her children; Roy Peters, Jim (MaryAnn) Peters, Linda (Edwin) Goossens, Barbara (Jack) Treaster. Grandchildren; Amber (Daniel) Yarmel, Jack Treaster III, Adam Treaster, Amanda (Will) Smith, Rebecca Goossens, and Michael Goossens. Great-grandchild; Kale Smith. Also survived by her brother, Robert Cherget. Betty was preceded in death by husband; Roy L. Peters, son; Paul Joseph Peters, and sister-in-law Theresa Cherget.
