Betty A. MacIntosh's Obituary
Betty A. MacIntosh, age 93, of China Twp., passed away September 19, 2021. Betty was born August 26, 1928 to the late Lloyd and Emma Lindow. On May 28, 1949 she married Guy V. MacIntosh. He preceded her in death on September 19, 2020.
Betty was a lifetime active member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair. Her working career began at Michigan Bell Telephone and later she worked for 25 years with the East China School District as a lunch lady. Betty was a member of the Mother’s Card Club for over 50 years. She also was a member of the Neighborhood Couples Club and the Tuesday Night Bowling League in St. Clair. Betty was also an avid walker. Her time shared with her family is what she cherished most.
Betty is survived by her children, Sandy (Jim) Shafran, Craig MacIntosh and Brenda Ross; grandchildren, Michael, Lisa, Tabatha, Nick, Christopher, Shannon, Kristin, Randy, Kyle, Adreanne, Katelin, Dustin, Mandy, Amber, Bobbie Jo, Derek, Brandon, Logan and Cody and many great grandchildren; sisters in law, Jane MacIntosh and Jeane Bass.
She is preceded in death by her son in law, Bob Ross.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Mallard’s Landing, Marwood Nursing and Rehab, McLaren Hospice and many family and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday September 25th at 11:00 a.m. with a service at 2:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
