Bernadette 'Dee Dee' Schulte's Obituary
Bernadette ‘Dee Dee’ Schulte, 69 of Casco Twp., MI passed away on May 14, 2023.
Bernadette was born in Detroit, MI on April 15, 1954 to George and Frances Zisler. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Warren, MI. She married Thomas Schulte on October 19, 1974.
Bernadette lived a rich and full life surrounded by wonderful family and friends. She especially loved to spoil her two granddaughters. Dee Dee enjoyed baking, camping, crafting, stained glass art and most of all she loved shopping! Over the years, she traveled and vacationed to many destinations like Ireland, British Virgin Islands, Italy and the Mediterranean. Her special four-legged friends over the years were her dogs Lulu, Lucy and Chloe. While enjoying the view from her special place ‘The Sunroom’, Dee would cozy-up in one of her many favorite sweatshirts, while sipping coffee from one of the many mugs she acquired from everywhere she ventured.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years, Thomas ‘Tom’ Schulte, her children Jessica & Kenny Dean, Brian & Chelsie Schulte; her granddaughters, Kylie & Brynn; and her siblings Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Trawczynski, John & Cathy Zisler, Yvonne ‘Bon’ Zisler, Dave & Mickie Zisler, as well as many other family and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, George and Frances Zisler.
